Everyone is looking forward to the final stage of the third edition of the Tour de Friends, which will arrive in Feltre tomorrow. Once again, this year RAD RACE (which organizes the event) has managed to create a one-of-a-kind experience, attracting 400 cyclists from all over the world for a ride along the bicycle route called “Claudia Augusta”. There are five stages covering 664 Km, and the route winds through the Alps and the Dolomites, from Augsburg to tomorrow’s arrival in Feltre.

The Tour de Friends has reached its third edition this year, and the philosophy behind the race is simple: give groups of friends the chance to take a ride to discover the wonders of the territory along the bike route called “Claudia Augusta” (while in the first two editions participants rode along the Munich-Venice route). The only aim is to have fun and spend a week in the pursuit of happiness. There is no final classification, just the joy and pride of having made it to the end of this race.

For the third year in a row, Selle San Marco is a partner for RAD RACE and the Tour de Friends; Selle San Marco is the only fully-owned Italian company to have believed in this project and supported it from the start.

“We have established a great relationship with the RAD RACE guys, one based on collaboration and mutual respect,” says Marketing Manager for Selle San Marco Paolo Frison. “As a company, we have always strongly believed in the values which make the Tour de Friends stand out: it’s a non-competitive ride that caters to groups of cycling friends, taking them on a 5-day adventure along spectacular roads featuring breath-taking scenery. This event and Selle San Marco share the same philosophy and vision of cycling, and this is why we are happy to have been standing side by side with the Tour de Friends since the very first edition of this race.”
