SELLE SAN MARCO AT THE GIRO D’ITALIA WITH TEAM ANDRONI GIOCATTOLI SIDERMEC

The 102nd edition of the Giro d’Italia will kick off from Bologna on May 11th, with an 8.2 km individual time trial.

Along with the 18 World Tour teams guaranteed an invitation, this year the starting grids will also feature Team Androni Giocattoli Sidermec. In fact, Gianni Savio’s formation clinched the coveted Wild Card slot by winning the 2018 Ciclismo Cup, thus insuring their participation in the Corsa Rosa again this year.

Last year, Team Androni Giocattoli Sidermec stood out for their usual fighting spirit, sending at least one rider into a break in each stage and even coming close to victory with Fausto Masnada in the stage with the arrival at Gran Sasso.

None other than Fausto Masnada will once again be one of the major players for Team Androni Giocattoli Sidermec in this Giro d’Italia, along with seven other team mates: Manuel Belletti, Mattia Cattaneo, Miguel Florez, Marco Frapporti, Francesco Gavazzi, Matteo Montaguti and Andrea Vendrame.

For the last two seasons, the Bottecchia bicycles used by Team Androni Giocattoli Sidermec have been fitted with Selle San Marco products. For this Giro d’Italia, Gianni Savio’s riders can count on two top line models from the Selle San Marco collection, featuring customized graphics in the team’s social media colours: the Aspide CFx Pro Series and the Shortfit CFx Pro Series.

Selle San Marco and Team Androni Giocattoli Sidermec look forward to seeing all their fans on the roads of the great Giro d’Italia.
