SELLE SAN MARCO HELPS RIDERS ADJUST THEIR SADDLES WITH BRP
The proper installation and adjustment of the saddle is essential in maintaining an efficient and comfortable riding position. There are so many different types of seats, featuring various models and dimensions, that it is not always so simple to achieve this setting.
This is why saddle companies use the BRP (Biomechanics Reference Point) system when developing and producing their saddles. BRP is a point of reference in which the saddle features a length of 70 mm relative to the permanent center, which helps calculate the proper positioning of the new saddle and maintain the same distance from the center of the handlebars regardless of the chosen saddle model.
Selle San Marco makes it easier to find the right products through saddle tests that also use the BRP system on their packaging graphics. In order to properly determine BRP, Selle San Marco indicates the distance between the top of the saddle and its respective BRP on all their models.
